What is a PP Woven Bag?

PP Woven Bags, also known as PP Woven Sacks, are made from polypropylene granules as raw material. They are copolymers of polypropylene with a small amount of ethylene, and are produced through processes such as drying, extrusion, and granulation. They are non-toxic, odorless, and tasteless.

Production Process

1. Raw Material Pretreatment: Selected virgin polypropylene granules are used, with the addition of an anti-aging agent (optional).

2. Melt Extrusion: The treated raw material is fed into an extruder and melted at a high temperature of 230-260℃, then extruded through a precision die to form a polypropylene film of uniform thickness.

3. Flat Yarn Stretching: The film is cut into narrow strips and stretched in a stretching machine to form high-strength flat yarns.

4. Weaving and Forming: A fully automatic weaving machine is used to weave the flat yarns into fabric along the warp and weft directions.

5. Sewing: The woven fabric is cut according to specifications and sewn with double-thread overlock stitching. The bag opening and bottom are reinforced.

6. Finished Product Quality Inspection: Each woven bag undergoes load-bearing testing, visual inspection, and dimensional measurement. Only bags that pass inspection are shipped.
