However, many farmers reported that although the temperature has dropped after using the garden shade sail net, the crops have problems of weak growth and low yield. This is mostly caused by the high shading rate of the sunshade net used. The reasons for the high shading rate are, one is the problem of the method of use, and the other is the problem of the sunshade net itself.

The selection of shade nets for shade-loving and light-loving crops is quite different.

The colors of sunshade nets on the market are mainly black and silver gray. Black has a high shading rate and a good cooling effect, but it has a greater impact on photosynthesis. It is more suitable for use on shade-loving crops. If used on some light-loving crops, Coverage time should be reduced.

Although the cooling effect of the silver-gray sunshade net is not as good as that of the black sunshade net, it has less impact on the photosynthesis of crops and can be used on light-loving crops.

There are two kinds of sunshade net covering methods: full coverage and pavilion-style coverage. In practical applications, pavilion-style coverage has a better cooling effect due to smooth air circulation, so it is used more often.

The specific method is:

Use the skeleton of the shed to cover the mono tape shade net on the top, leaving a 60-80 cm ventilation belt on it.

If it is covered with a film, the sunshade net cannot be directly covered on the film, and a gap of more than 20 cm should be left to use the wind to cool down.

The problem of the sunshade net itself is also a factor that causes the shading rate to be too high and cannot be ignored. There are two main types of sunshade nets currently on the market: one is sold by weight, and the other is sold by area.

Nets sold by weight are generally recycled material nets, which are low-quality nets. The service life is 2 months to 1 year. Above 70%, there is no clear packaging.

Nets sold by area are generally new material nets, with a service life of 3 to 5 years. This net is characterized by light weight, moderate flexibility, smooth and shiny net surface, and a wide range of shading rate adjustments, which can be made from 30% to 95%.

Considering the different lighting requirements of crops and the need to control the greenhouse temperature, it is necessary to choose a sunshade net with a suitable shading rate, and you must not be greedy for cheap, just choose at will.
